While Peyton and Haley see this as an opportunity to introduce their musical act, Carrie (guest star, Torrey DeVitto) sees it as a chance to get closer to Nathan. Brooke forces an unsuspecting Mouth to go on a blind date with Millicent (guest star, Lisa Goldstein). Lindsey (guest star, Michaela McManus) confronts Lucas about sneaking off to see Peyton.

Haley wrestles with whether or not to reveal information that could ruin Lucas' relationship, and Nathan is put in a position that could spell the end of his marriage. Lucas and Skills ace the coaching prospect of playing their season opener at a disadvantage.

At the first Raven's basketball game of the season, Haley, Brooke, Peyton, Lindsey (guest star, Michaela McManus) and Mia (guest star, musician Kate Voegele) find themselves locked in the Tree Hill High library. Tensions run high as Peyton and Lindsey face off over Lucas. Brooke tries to stand up for her mother when her friends go on the attack. Haley plays mentor to Mia, who is experiencing the elation and disappointment of fame. Meanwhile, Mouth, who is covering the game as his first official TV reporting assignment, struggles to find a story. Finally, Lucas and Nathan grapple with the decision to tell their loved ones about various indiscretions.

NOTE: Paul Johansson (Dan Scott) doesn't appear in this episode, although he is featured in the opening credits. Brett Claywell (Tim Smith) appears in this episode as the pizza man. This is his first appearance since the third season.

NOTE: Kieren Hutchison returns as Andy Hargrove, millionaire and professor, and lover of Karen Roe, for the first time since season two. Moira Kelly also returns as Karen Roe for the first time in season five. On March 21, 2008 this episode was the most sold television episode on iTunes.
