06.03.10 - SHANTEL, JANA, AND ROBERT HIT UP THE MTV STYLE LOUNGE
They probably won't be seen on the red carpet at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards this weekend, but One Tree Hill stars Shantel VanSanten, Jana Kramer, and Robert Buckley made sure to hit up the Kari Feinstein MTV Movie Awards Style Lounge.

Jana kicked back in cowboy boots and a burnout tee as she checked out some of the jewelry stands while Shantel was seen trying on clothes and picking up a giftbag from the Nail Garden stand. Robert ran into old pal Ashley Greene, who you may be familiar with as Alice Cullen in the Twilight saga films.

BETHANY JOY GALEOTTI: A PEA IN THE POD PARTY
Bethany Joy Galeotti is one of the OTH cast members that we very rarely see at any Hollywood events, but the actress attended Heidi Klum's Moms-To-Be Night Out event held at the A Pea In The Pod boutique in Beverly Hills, Calif. this week.

Joy sky high platforms with a loose-fitting olive green beade embellished dress.

PAPARAZZI CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF SOPHIA BUSH
Since Sophia Bush is back in Beverly Hills for a mini vacation before she begins filming OTH again, the paparazzi has been hot on her heels.

Not only was Sophia followed to a shopping outing at Switch boutique on Friday (see photos here), but the photogs camera shutters were clicking away as Sophia exited the gym yesterday with on-screen/off-screen boyfriend Austin Nichols and their pal Jake Gyllenhaal.

TYLER HILTON TALKS TO FANBOLT
Our friends over at Fanbolt.com just posted a new interview with OTH alum, Tyler Hilton! In this four page interview, Tyler talked about everything from his music to Twitter, what TV shows he's currently watching--such as Glee and LOST--and how it felt playing a character on our favorite TV show--One Tree Hill.

"Yes. I loved doing that. The only people who didn't like me at first...'Cause I was touring for a while, and then I did One Tree Hill, and then I started noticing that some people would come out and they'd be all like, "I didn't want to come, because I didn't like you." But it's kind of fun, because I thought that character was so funny and I'm not really like that in real life, and I hate people like that. CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY & KENZIE DALTON: BEANIE BUNCH
via JustJared.com -- Chad Michael Murray and his fiancee Kenzie Dalton both don beanies after having lunch with a friend in Los Angeles on Wednesday (May 26).

Chad's ex-wife Sophia Bush recently admitted that she was understandably wary about dating another One Tree Hill costar after what she refers to as the "Chad debacle." (Sophia is currently dating co-star Austin Nichols.)

06.06.10 - ROBERT BUCKLEY FOR STOP PUPPY MILLS
Robert Buckley took to YouTube (via a Flip Cam video) to urge anybody and everybody to join him and The Humane Society in the pledge to stop the puppy mills in which puppies are being sold on the internet.

TYLER HILTON TALKS "ONE TREE HILL"
A new interview with Tyler Hilton was just posted on StarPulse.com. In the interview Tyler talked about connecting with his fans via YouTube and other areas of social media. Tyler also talked a bit about his music, his charity--TH Books for Kids, as well as acting. When asked about the possibility of returning to One Tree Hill, this is what Tyler had to say:

"I think it would be really fun to come back for one more episode. I had so much fun doing the show, so it would be great to come back. I would love to do it, I just have to find the time. JANA KRAMER TO PLAY NASHVILLE ON JUNE 16TH!
Jana Kramer's fans say her music is "addicting". The musicians who have played with her say her music is "a refreshing addition to our Country format".
Here's your chance to see what all the rave is about! Singer, songwriter, and actress Jana Kramer will be playing an up close and personal acoustic show at 'The Basement' in Nashville on June 16th.

At Kramer's request, she is reserving special space for her fans for the show. A meet and greet will be held immediately following her performance. There will also be a special One Tree Hill surprise at the show!

SOPHIA BUSH SHOPS AT STELLA MCCARTNEY
Sophia Bush was spotted hitting up the Stella McCartney boutique in West Hollywood on Thursday, June 3rd. Soph carried the suede bucket bag by the designer that she won in an auction last month. She paired it with a casual dress and army green jacket with her Kimberly McDonald earrings and Sigerson Morrison nude bracelet boots.

06.12.10 - SPECIAL TV SCHEDULE NOTE: As we mentioned before, One Tree Hill will move to Tuesday nights this fall on the CW with the timeslot of 8pm. Repeats will begin airing at that time this summer starting on July 28th. Make sure you update your calendars! We'll keep you posted as to when the actual season 8 premiere date will be.

MATT MITOVITCH & HILARIE BURTON ON THE SET OF 'WHITE COLLAR'
Matt Mitovitch from Fancast.com paid a visit to the set of White Collar, on which Hilarie Burton will be guest-starring. Matt tweeted about running into a very excited Hilarie outside of her dressing room. He said she was "SO happy to be on White Collar". He noted that Hilarie's wardrobe is vastly different from what we're used to seeing her wear on One Tree Hill. Apparently it's a very high-fashion wardrobe. Hilarie also had to drop her Southern drawl to play Sara, a Washington State-bred insurance investigator for the role.

SHANTEL LOVES FOLEY + CORINNA & BANGLES
Shantel VanSanten attended the Foley + Corinna Melrose Avenue Event with Poshglam.com Wednesday in Los Angeles where she sorted through racks of the girly dresses by the brand.

On Thursday, Shantel enjoyed creating her own jewelry at the Alex And Ani's 'Create your own Bangle Bar' Launch Party and Benefit which was held at Live! On Sunset in West Hollywood, California.

'OTH' EMMY SUBMISSIONS: SOPHIA BUSH FOR BEST ACTRESS
Locally filmed drama series "One Tree Hill" has never been nominated for an Emmy. That's probably not going to change.

If anything, I thought its best chance was last year in some of the technical categories for its 1940s-themed episode. Still, being on the Emmy ballot can be a way for networks and publicists to show support for their clients, and some shows put every cast member up for contention. Others, like I assume "OTH" does, leave it to the actors (or their publicists) to submit.

This year, Sophia Bush is the lone nominee from "One Tree Hill," which has filmed in Wilmington since 2003. She listed on the ballot in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category.

Most interesting, though, is Warner Bros.' campaign this year for its CW shows, including "One Tree Hill." It's nice to see the studio saying its proud of all of its shows, not just the high-brow ones.

FYI, the two episodes "One Tree Hill" is submitting as proof it deserves an award this year are "I And Love And You" and "Last Day of Our Acquaintance."

SOPHIA BUSH & AUSTIN NICHOLS AT THE CHRYSALIS BUTTERLY BALL
Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols attended the 2010 Chrysalis Butterfly Ball this weekend. The event--which was held at a private Mandeville Canyon estate in Los Angeles, California--raised funds to help the homeless, and those struggling with poverty, find employment.

Other celebrities in attendance included Ashley Greene, Eva Mendes, Amber Riley, Christina Ricci, and 90210's AnnaLynne McCord and Jessica Stroup.

Sophia wore a beaded nude gown by Lorena Sarbu while Austin was decked out in a John Varvatos suit.

06.15.10 - VOTE SOPHIA AT THE 2010 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS
Considering they've been on the air for so long, it's not a huge surprise that One Tree Hill isn't nominated for a slew of awards--even though they deserve it--at this years Teen Choice Awards. Although, Sophia Bush did get a nod for Best Actress in a TV Drama. Make sure you head on over to VOTE for Sophia!

FYI: If you list your birth year and it shows you're no longer a "teen", you might not be able to vote. That's happened many times in the past.

ATLAS SHRUGGED: PAUL JOHANSSON STARRING AND DIRECTING
via SlashFilm.com -- Atlas is finally shrugging towards theater screens. A few weeks ago we told you that producer John Aglialoro was going to get a feature version of Ayn Rand's novel together come hell or high water. And, indeed, cameras started to roll on Atlas Shrugged Part One over the weekend. Who are the star and director? Same guy: Paul Johansson, of the TV show One Tree Hill.

When last we reported on this, Stephen Polk, son of former MGM chairman Louis Polk, was set to direct. At some point in the past couple weeks Johansson came on board. He has directed a few things in the past, most notably a dozen episodes of his show. And if he wanted a feature career, he's found one of the more uniquely Hollywood ways to jumpstart one: agree to direct a last-minute production of a massive novel for a producer who has to start shooting NOW or else lose the rights he spent a million bucks on almost twenty years ago. Variety reports that Aglialoro would have lost the rights if the film didn't go into production by Saturday.

JOE MANGANIELLO PARTIES IT UP IN HOLLYWOOD
Former Tree Hill bartender, Joe Manganiello ("Owen") has been hanging out in LA while promoting the new season of True Blood on which he's currently starring.

Joe attended the Hollywood premiere of True Blood's Season 3 last week--don't you wish we had fun stuff like that for OTH?--and was seen this past weekend taking in the festivities at the premiere of Xbox 360's "Project Natal" game. We're sure you'll be seeing Joe a lot more now that he's the subject of so many blog post regarding his shirtless scenes as Alcide on the HBO vampire hit.

06.17.10 - AUSTIN NICHOLS & SOPIHA BUSH ON TWITTER!
Another One Tree Hill cast member has joined the Twitter world! Austin Nichols (Julian) has officially joined--account "verified" and everything--and he wants YOU to follow him @AUS10NICHOLS!

As Austin tweeted this earlier this week, he created his Twitter account to "bring awareness to issues of positive change on planet Earth and promote creative endeavors."

Austin is currently traveling on the gulf coast attempting to help clean up the oil spills in the ocean as well as help clean the beaches, participate in animal rescue and speak with the fisherman and families.

Please support Austin by following him and spreading the word!

If you've been following Sophia Bush (@SophiaBush) and Austin Nichols (@AUS10NICHOLS) on Twitter, you're extremely aware of the action the OTH stars are taking to support the Gulf.

The stars gave been trying to boost the awareness about the devastating BP oil spills and have campaigned to get 50,000 followers each to make donations to Global Green. The stars also took part--along with some other celebrities, including Olivia Wilde and Ian Somerhalder--in Larry King's telethon last night.

SMASHING INTERVIEWS: JACKSON BRUNDAGE
Melissa Parker from Smashing Interviews Magazine recently talked with Jackson Brundage about his role on One Tree Hill, his charity work, school, and his favorite everyday activities. Turns out Jackson is really into karate!

How did you get interested in martial arts?
Jackson Brundage: When I was about four (close to five), I said to my mom, "Can I do karate?" She said, "Sure, let's sign you up." Right down the hill from my house is a karate studio so I went there for two years.

In the meantime, the crew for the show is already back to work for filming preparations. Kelly Tenney tweeted on the Southern Gothic Productions Twitter: "Opening OTH production offices today for season 8! Yahoo!"

EXAMINER: BETHANY JOY GALEOTTI RELEASES SONG TO HELP KENYA RELEASE CLEANER WATER
One Tree Hill's Bethany Joy Galeotti is known to us as an actress, singer, songwriter, and, director. Yet most recently it was discovered the multi-talented Galeotti can add one more title to her impressive resume, and it may just be the most important one of all. Last week Galeotti revealed to her fans on her official blog she is a sponsor to a young girl in Kenya and has been for nearly a decade through COMPASSION INTL.

On her blog, Galeotti writes about the girl she describes as a 'bright, funny, and beautiful young woman', who has become a good friend of hers' and who writes to her about the unsanitary water conditions in Kenya.
