CHAD ON THE WB 11 MORNING NEWS
CHAD ON TV THIS MORNING
· Chad will be a guest on the
WB 11 Morning News this morning (Tuesday, May 11th). He will be talking
about the One Tree Hill season finale that airs tonight at 9pm (EST). We're not
sure if this will air anywhere else but the Tri-State (NY, NJ & CT) area, but we
hope to have a video of it posted soon. The
WB 11 Morning News airs bright and early at 5:30am this morning. Don't miss
it! :)
REMINDER: Don't forget to catch Chad in the newest issue of Teen People

MEAN GIRLS PREMIERE

Bethany Joy Lenz attended the World Premiere of "Mean Girls" (starring, Lindsay
Lohan) this past Monday, April 19th. This event benefited the scholarship fund
of California State Summer School for the Arts.

TRL AWARDS
· Sad to report that the cast did not receive the TRL
"Gridlock" award this past Tuesday (April 13th) at the TRL Awards. =( Although
the show wasn't a total disappointment because Hilarie was one of the host! We
hope you all got to check that out, she looked lovely as always.
MTV DIARY
· We hope everybody caught the One Tree Hill edition of MTV
Diary last weekend. It was great to get a sneak peak at Chad, Sophia, Joy, James
& Hilarie's life in Wilmington when they're off the set.
There has been a lot of talk of a second season, considering Chad sort of
mentioned there would be another season. We also heard that the WB reported OTH
has been renewed for another season. But, since we haven't gotten the official
word as of yet -- keep
voting @ E! Online and
sign the petition for save our show!
ANTWON'S MOVIE
· Antown Tanner who plays "Skills", (one of "Lucas'"
friends from the river court) just recently wrapped up filming a movie with
David Arquette called "Never Die Alone" - he is currently filming the true-life
basketball movie "All Day Long" with Samuel L. Jackson.

SECOND SEASON?
· Here's
a message regarding the WB's new programming [February 20th]:
"We also think that the WB is going to seriously rethink its scheduling
sensibilities. Eight comedies is obviously 5 or 6 too many. Not counting the
EasyView programming, it now airs 13 hours a week of shows. Locked in for 2004
already: 7th Heaven (for its last), Gilmore Girls, Charmed. Almost certain to
return: Smallville, Everwood and a resurgent One Tree Hill and the
Beginnings franchise. This year the WB's future is imminently more
appealing than this time last year, especially on the drama side, led by
Summerland, which could graduate to the fall lineup."

So, it looks like the WB is "almost certain" that One Tree Hill will be
returning for a second season! But, hey.. it
doesn't hurt to sign the
second season
petition or head over to E! Entertainment Online and

MEET THE CAST TOMORROW!

If you live in the Wilmington, NC area - Friday (tomorrow), April 2nd @ 4:00 pm
you will be able to meet the cast of OTH at the Charity Basketball Game. The
game will be held at Laney High School (where the show's gym scenes are
filmed). The players participating will be the "Ravens" basketball team vs.

On April 10th at noon & then again at 8pm, the cast will be featured on MTV's
Diary: One Tree Hill. "Diary emerges as the first ever invitation into the
life of an artist, narrated first-hand, directly into the camera. Viewers see
the artists in their homes and on the road, up close and personal, untraditional
and uncut." The episode will repeat again Sunday the 11th at 10:30am and 6:30pm.

MTV's "2004 TRL AWARDS"

Head over to MTV.com to vote for "One Tree Hill" for the 2004 TRL Awards. The
cast is nominated for the "Gridlock
Award." This award if for the guest who clogged up 45th and Broadway the
most during their visit to Total Request Live. If you all remember the
overwhelming crowd the cast caused their first visit to TRL back in November.
The awards will be held on MTV, Tuesday, April 13 @ 5pm.

CHARITY FOOTBALL GAME

Of course you all heard about the charity football game the cast and crew of OTH
participated in Friday, March 19th. The football game was to raise money for Pop
Warner scholarships, in which the cast also signed a basketball to be auctioned
off. Photos from the event will be added to the photo gallery very soon.
