off, we want to introduce ourselves. Our names are Chanelle (22 years old) and
Courtney (20 years old) or as you know us, Nelly & Cortni. We're sisters, we're
from New Jersey and we've been making websites together for nearly 8 years,
because well... we practically do everything together, and it's really fun for
us because we're truly best friends.
Our websites in the past have usually been towards promoting music artist we've
worked with on projects. We come from a very musical family, so when we weren't
making sites for artist - we were launching an on-line magazine entitled "Fanvasion.com"
in our early teens.
When we first heard about One Tree Hill starting, we were anxious to see it
because Courtney had followed all of Chad Michael Murray's pervious work and
Chanelle was an avid basketball fan, so our interest were definitely intact. We
just didn't have any plans for a website, especially since our main focus was on
Fanvasion.
To say the least, we were hooked into One Tree Hill after the first episode and
with just a few episodes into the season we began laying out plans for a
website. The real deal was there wasn't anything online for One Tree Hill fans,
if we tried to search for anything related the show - it was almost non-existent
and right away we wanted to change that. Besides, there were basically no
fan-sites... only four completely devoted to the show and they were rarely
updated. It'd be an understatement to say starting our site was hard considering
the little information... but we wanted to create a place online for One Tree
Hill fans to go to when they needed ANYTHING related to OTH. If you wanted music
from the show, you could find it. Fashion, information, photos, interviews,
articles, quotes, merchandise, fanlistings, the most updated and accurate news
on each cast member - you got it. We even wanted fans outside the US to have a
source where they could get information on how they could see the show we felt
so passionate about.
Having wanted all of that, OneTreeHillWeb.net came about and over the last four
years we have created exactly what we envisioned. A OTH fan-site totally
jam-packed with more One Tree Hill than you could possibly handle. We
have worked around the clock to bring you everything you need as a dedicated
fan, and you won't find another fan-site online for the show that brings you the
most original and exclusive information.
While we don't try to be the "BEST", or the most "POPULAR" -- we are the largest
One Tree Hill fan-site out there due to our outrageous amount of content and
networks! We never thought the site would have become this much of a success but
we're very proud of it and appreciate everyone who has been apart of the site,
lent us help, ideas or have just supported by visiting and giving us feedback.
The success of OneTreeHillWeb.net has allowed us to bring you some of the most
EXCLUSIVE material, including interviews with your favorite cast members, music
that you spend hours searching for and a huge fashion section that speaks for
itself. We've been able to reach fans all around the world -- OneTreeHillWeb.net
went from getting 100 visitors a month to reaching 13 million a month -- in
fact, by the end of 2007 we reached over 160 million visitors in a single year!
We have and will continue to remain DEDICATED to our visitors because you are
all our fellow fans and we want to bring you everything we can. If there's
